Archangels for Healing

Archangels are often associated with different areas of healing, and each archangel is said to bring unique energy and support. Here are just four of the widely recognised archangels that are commonly associated with healing whom we can call upon. There are many more:

  1. Archangel Raphael: Raphael is known as the archangel of healing and is often depicted holding a staff with a serpent coiled around it, which is said to represent healing energy. Raphael is said to bring physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.
  2. Archangel Michael: Michael is known as the archangel of protection, and his energy is said to help clear negative energy and blockages that can interfere with healing. Michael is also said to provide strength and courage during difficult times.
  3. Archangel Gabriel: Gabriel is known as the archangel of communication and is often associated with healing through words and expression. Gabriel is said to bring clarity, inspiration, and guidance in matters of health and healing.
  4. Archangel Azrael: Azrael is known as the archangel of transition and is often associated with helping those who are dying or have passed on. Azrael is said to provide comfort, peace, and support during times of grief and loss.

Connecting with your healing archangels can be a deeply personal and spiritual experience.

Just be yourself!

One way to overcome the fear of not being liked is to focus on developing your own self-confidence.

Being yourself is about being true to who you are and being comfortable in your own skin. It means accepting and embracing all of your unique qualities, both good and bad. It also means having the courage to be honest with yourself and others, even when it’s difficult. Here are some tips for being yourself:

  • Accept who you are: Take time to get to know yourself and accept all of your strengths and weaknesses and positive qualities.
  • Believe in yourself: Have faith in your abilities and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
  • Try to focus on connecting with people who appreciate and support you for who you are.
  • Spend time with people who make you feel good about yourself, and avoid situations where you feel like you have to prove yourself or compete for attention.
  • Speak up: Don’t be afraid to express your thoughts, opinions, and feelings.
  • Follow your passions: Do what makes you happy and don’t worry about what other people think.
  • Be authentic: You don’t need everyone’s approval in order to be successful or happy. Don’t try to be someone else or fit into a certain mold; be true to who you are.

Finally, remember that everyone has their own unique qualities that make them special, so don’t worry if some people don’t like you – there will always be others who do!

Online Counselling

As an ONLINE therapy service I am able to offer my clients much more flexibility in scheduling appointments. I use the meeting platform Zoom which is great for when I want to share useful resources with my clients.

For those of you who are thinking about online therapy below are just a few reasons why you must give it a go!!

Online counselling offers many benefits, including:

Increased access to mental health services: Online counselling provides a convenient and accessible way for you to receive mental health support, especially for those of you who live in remote areas or have difficulty accessing traditional face-to-face counselling.

More flexibility: Online counselling allows for more flexible scheduling, allowing you to work around your own schedule and commitments.

Greater privacy and anonymity: Online counselling can provide a greater sense of privacy and anonymity than traditional face-to-face counselling, as you can communicate from the comfort of your own home.

Cost savings: Online counselling can be more cost effective than traditional face-to-face counselling, as there are no travel costs involved.

Comfort: You get to stay in the comfort of your warm home and you can sit wherever you are most comfortable. Many clients have a drink with them and they are very at ease.

My observations over the years of working online are that clients who I see online jump straight into the session and use their time effectively. In person clients, due to rushing to get to me, need time to wind down and 10 minutes of their session time can often be lost. 10 minutes is valuable time!!

What Is a Whole-Foods, Plant-Based Diet?

There is no clear definition of a what constitutes a whole-foods, plant-based diet (WFPB diet). The WFPB diet is not necessarily a set diet , it’s more of a lifestyle.

This is because plant-based diets can vary greatly depending on the extent to which a person includes animal products in their diet.

Nonetheless, the basic principles of a whole-foods, plant-based diet are as follows:

  • Emphasises whole, minimally processed foods.
  • Limits or avoids animal products.
  • Focuses on plants, including vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes, seeds and nuts, which should make up the majority of what you eat.
  • Excludes refined foods, like added sugars, white flour and processed oils.
  • Pays special attention to food quality, with many proponents of the WFPB diet promoting locally sourced, organic food whenever possible.

For these reasons, this diet is often confused with vegan or vegetarian diets. Yet although similar in some ways, these diets are not the same.

People who follow vegan diets abstain from consuming any animal products, including dairy, meat, poultry, seafood, eggs and honey. Vegetarians exclude all meat and poultry from their diets, but some vegetarians eat eggs, seafood or dairy.

The WFPB diet, on the other hand, is more flexible. Followers eat mostly plants, but animal products are not off limits.

What are the benefits of a WFPB diet?

  • It helps to lower inflammation
  • It’s good for gut health
  • It supports your immune system
  • It helps you to maintain a healthy weight
  • It lowers your risk of heart related condition and diabetes. It is linked to a reduced risk of cancer
  • You will increase your energy levels
  • Better brain health
  • Lowers risk of osteoporosis
  • Lowers your risk of kidney disease

There are so many benefits to eating a plant based diet, I hope this gives you a little insight and you can research this further.

Distant Healing

Distant healing can be just as effective as an in-person session in my healing room. It only takes me 10 minutes to scan the clients body and send healing accordingly.

Clients send me a photo or I hold the session over Skype or Zoom.

During the remote healing session clients may feel physical sensations, or emotions, see visual images or just feel very relaxed. How much you feel during a session does not have any bearing on the healing that takes place. The healing continues working with you after the session is over.  You may wish to sleep for a short while after the session – though it is better not to sleep during the session if possible as you may miss some interesting sensations.

I love setting up my crystal grid and tuning in to the energy of my clients. I feel so honoured to be able to help clients in this way and I also feel really peaceful from channelling the energy so it’s a nice little re charge for me too!!

Do What You Love

Spiritual Wellness Coaching is a soulful merging of Integrative Counselling, Intuitive Energy healing and Holistic approaches to wellbeing.

One of the things I find that often comes up when I’m supporting women with their emotional wellbeing is that they don’t do what they love!! Women often lose an aspect of themselves trying to be everything they think society wants them to be: super mum, career woman, the obliging daughter to toxic parents or the oppressed and supressed soul to abusive partners.

If YOU could do anything right now, regardless of time, money or ability or any other limiting factors,, what would YOU CHOOSE?

Are you holding yourself back, feel you have to be sensible, act your age or feel too old for something?

What if ‘one day’ became ‘today’ instead?

Eat the cake, buy those shoes, go exploring, connect with great people!!!

Even if it’s out of your budget, what’s the first step YOU could take towards that goal?
Approach each day with a small glimmer of positivity and you will soon begin to see the possibilities.

The effects of Stress and Cortisol on Women

Like many women I have suffered from high levels of stress and high cortisol levels. Together this can greatly affect your health wellbeing!!

So what is Cortisol and what are the signs in Women?

Cortisol is one of the body’s main stress hormones. When you are under stress and your body’s fight or flight response kicks in, cortisol quickly comes to your rescue.
When cortisol production is balanced, levels of the hormone naturally rise and fall during the day. In response to danger, your body temporarily raises levels of cortisol and adrenaline to handle the stressful event. After the stressors have passed, cortisol and adrenaline levels return to normal.

When chronic stress leads to high cortisol levels, it creates a state of adrenal imbalance that often triggers a cascade of adrenal-related symptoms:

  • Fatigue
  • Low sex drive
  • Sleeplessness
  • Weight gain (especially belly fat)
  • Impaired healing and cell regeneration
  • Disrupted digestion, mental function (brain fog) and metabolism
  • Weakened ability to fight infection
  • Imbalances in other important hormones such as DHEA, estrogen, progesterone and testosterone
  • Loss of muscle and bone
  • Mood swings and depression
  • Hair and skin problems
  • Thyroid imbalances

My Spiritual Wellness sessions will help you to address stress factors in your life, show you ways to reduce cortisol levels and balance and heal the adrenal glands.

Remember, it took a lot of time for high cortisol levels to develop and so it’s going to take time to bring your adrenals back to balance. As you work towards this goal, be kind to yourself, be proactive about all the many changes you can make and steps you can take — and know that you will be well again!
