As humans we each develop our very own ways of coping during times of stress, upheaval, transition, or grief. Sometimes, it is often perceived that asking for help is a sign of weakness or failure — especially when we feel the weight of the world becoming a little too much to bear or when we recognise ourselves struggling to cope as well as we otherwise know we could. For many, it is believed to be admirable to pretend everything is good, even when it is not.
Asking for help, and giving yourself permission to be supported acknowledges your humanness — something all of us share. It is a useful step in managing your mental health and can help us to understand why we are feeling the way that we are, instead of just hoping that everything will return to normal soon.
Using a range of counselling approaches, I am trained to offer help, support and guidance in coping through a wide range of difficult or distressing times of life such as:
- Burnout
- Spiritual crisis
- Perfectionism
- Empath Burnout
- Redundancy
- Bereavement
- Divorce

- Lightworkers and isolation
- Trauma
- Depression
- Self-harm

Testimonials
”I can highly recommend Juliet Bunting as a Counsellor – she truly unpicks all the nitty gritty stuff that we all keep so deeply buried within our souls and enables you to find acceptance and new ways of thinking! Trust me – if you are looking for a Counsellor – you will not be disappointed!”
Alison Cathleen, UK
”My experience with Juliet has been truly amazing. Extremely informative and knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and allows you to feel at complete ease to discuss a variety of issues. The complimentary telephone call before proceeding with the sessions was very helpful as it made it clear that she was the right counsellor for me, and vice versa. Throughout the sessions, Juliet provided a wealth of information, including extra materials to go away and look into for further support/knowledge. The communication throughout was brilliant, always responding to any questions promptly. What I particularly like about Juliet’s approach is the fact that she isn’t passive. She gives you confidence by challenging some of your thoughts or comments in a positive and constructive way. This allows you to see things in a completely different way and find practical, worthwhile solutions. I’d never considered counselling in my life, but it was one of the best decisions I made. I would 100% recommend Juliet. ”
Mark Bailey, UK
“Juliet always provides a responsive, safe and non-judgmental space in which I can explore my issues. Her help has been invaluable to me as I have been working at my own pace through some major life changes and I feel seen as a whole person and not just a condition. I feel so much better.”
Angela W, UK
”Juliet is simply amazing! I tried a few therapists in the past and made a decision therapy isn’t for me. But then I got really desperate and wanted to give it a try and Thank God I found Juliet. She is an amazing listener and just so soft spoken that she makes it so easy to open up (especially someone like me who struggles to talk about my emotions).”
